The Oshkosh M-ATV or Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle doesn’t require a lengthy introduction to anybody interested in modern warfighting vehicles. It is a machine designed to cope with the IED threat, an impressive piece of kit that has been deployed with US troops operating in Afghanistan since 2009.
In this last installment from the series, we are going to take a look at Alex’s favourite T-72. It is based on his modified B type turret, along with a plethora of scratchbuilt details including, but not limited to, the late generation wedge shaped ERA blocks.
Another installment for Alex’ great collection of T-72. This time it is the turn of another T-72B, but one equipped with the early type ERA blocks and based in Chechnya in the mid 1990’s.
In this second installment of the series Alex show Us his T-72B (model 1984). Just like the previous Rebel captured Libyan T-72M1, this model is based on Revell’s T-72M1 #03149 with the appropriate conversion work to turn it into the mightly armoured B variant.

Improving and slightly correcting Revell’s rendition of a late Panther Ausf. G tank. The Revell kit is readily available, comes with a lot of extra parts (chin and chinless mantlet, two types of exhausts, extended deck crew heater, etc) and is not expensive. However the kit has a few issues, some more complicated than others….

Work in progress on the Airfix’s 1/72 Jeep gets some more PE details and a scratch-built wire-cutter. Also the windshield gets a small correction in shape. We are slowly getting there!!!
